This limited edition necklace is made from preserved natural butterfly coated in acrylic resin. The butterfly is as light as air and all its veins are readable on the surface. This statement piece is exclusively hand-made in Italy by trained jewellery artisans. It takes about a week to craft this beautiful show - stopper. The artisan process begins with a careful selection of flowers, butterflies and gemstones featuring unique shapes and intense colours. After that, selected natural materials are dried and preserved with several coats of acrylic resin. This collar necklace is crafted with meticulous attention to detail from dried butterfly that is accentuated with coral. Additional materials include sterling silver and 24k gold plating.
